50mg is a film-coated tablet that is used to treat Erectile Dysfunction
(ED) in men who are unable to get or keep an erection when sexually
excited
Viagra contains the active substance sildenafil,
it works by helping to relax the blood vessels in your penis, allowing
blood to flow into your penis when you are sexually excited. Viagra will
only help you to get an erection if you are sexually stimulated.
How to take Viagra:
Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told
you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The
recommended starting dose is 50mg. You should not take Viagra more than
once a day. You should not take Viagra if you are a woman or do not have
erectile dysfunction.
Do NOT take Viagra...- If you are allergic to sildenafil or any other ingredients of this medicine.
- If you are taking medicine called nitrates, as this may cause a drop in blood pressure.
- If you are using medicines known as nitric oxied donors, such as amyl nitrate, as these may lead to a drop in blood pressure.
- If you have a sever heart or liver problem.
- If you have recently had a stroke, heart attack or low blood pressure.
- If you have certain rare inherited eye diseases.
You should NOT take Viagra...- If you have sickle cell anaemia, leukaemia or multiple myeloma.
- If you have a deformity of the penis.
- If you have problems with your heart.
- If you have a stomach ulcer, or bleeding problems.
- If you experience sudden decrease or loss of vision.
